Clay Tennis Court

Tennis courts must be built on flat, well-compressed terrain, preferably with a clayey composition.

Drainage: Self-draining takes about 8 hours. Construction works take approximately 6 weeks. If the court is built on uneven, earthworks, or non-tight terrain or over groundwater, a subfloor must be provided, which requires a drainage system.

Maintenance:  of clay is quite arduous. Frequent replacement of the surface tile powder is required, and it is necessary to keep it consistently wet to ensure the softness of the floor and tightness of the soil and prevent the wind from creating dust clouds. Ideally, the court should be swept and watered twice a day.
